The Gudi Padwa Shobha Yatra was a wonderful experience, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Hindu Nav Varsh celebration in a truly saarvajanik way. The event took place on 30th March 2025 and people from all walks of life came together to celebrate this significant festival, fostering Hindu dharma and culture. The traditional outfits added a dazzling splash of color and vibrancy to the procession, transforming it into a kaleidoscope of cultural heritage and creating a truly unforgettable visual spectacle.
This year's Pokhran Nagar Shobha Yatra had a special theme - Ahilyabai Holkar, honoring her remarkable bravery. The festival featured 50 participating pathaks, each showcasing incredible talent and enthusiasm.
We were privileged to represent Kutumbha Bharathi, pathak number 7, and our performance was a highlight of the event. We presented a dynamic show featuring traditional dances with lezim, instrumental music, and an impressive Lathi Kathi demonstration. The Shobha Yatra procession began at Shivay Nagar's Hanuman Mandir and concluded at Lokeshvar Mandir, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony. We were thrilled to receive a consolation prize, making our participation even more special. We feel grateful to have been part of this unforgettable experience and to have represented Kutumbha Bharathi.
