IndiGo to operate only from T1 and T3 at Delhi airport from April 15 as T2 shuts for maintenance

IndiGo will shift all its operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport starting April 15, due to maintenance work at T2. The airline will now operate only from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 until further notice.

In a statement on Sunday, IndiGo said, “Delhi Terminal 2 is going under maintenance, resulting in all flights being moved to Terminal 1 starting April 15, 2025, until further notice.”

It added that a list of affected flights will be available on its website. “While notifications are being sent to registered contact details via Email and WhatsApp, we’re also appending a list of flights that are being reassigned on our website, so you have all the information you need at your fingertips,” the airline said.

Other airlines that operate from Terminal 2 are also expected to move their flights to other terminals. Akasa Air, which currently uses T2, confirmed that all its flights to and from Delhi will now operate from Terminal 1 (1D).

Meanwhile, the upgraded Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport will be fully operational from April 15. In a post on X, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said, “In just 2 days, experience a smarter, more comfortable journey at Delhi Airport’s upgraded Terminal 1. Get ready for smoother travel, better connectivity, and world-class facilities — all under one roof.”

Passengers are advised to check their flight status online or by contacting the respective airline.
