Correspondent

Ola Electric recorded 23,430 unit registrations in March 2025, according to the VAHAN portal, indicating strong demand across both urban and rural markets. The company reiterated that the transition to in-house vehicle registrations, which began in February, initially caused temporary disruptions. However, as the shift progresses, daily registration volumes and backlog clearance are steadily improving.

"We have nearly cleared the February backlog and expect to complete the remaining February-March registrations by April 2025," the company stated. "To support this, we are expanding our registration operations and actively collaborating with all external stakeholders."

Ola Electric also commenced deliveries of its Gen 3 portfolio in March 2025, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from customers, with demand exceeding expectations. Consequently, the company ramped up Gen 3 production in March and plans to scale it up further in April to accelerate deliveries and enhance the customer experience.

Committed to seamless execution and customer satisfaction, the company assured stakeholders that it will continue providing updates as registration volumes stabilize.
