Pawan Kalyan’s son injured in Singapore school fire, undergoing treatment

Mark Shankar, the younger son of Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, sustained burn injuries in a fire accident at his school in Singapore on Tuesday morning, according to a post shared by the party on X.
The party’s tweet mentioned that the fire broke out due to unknown reasons and led to injuries on Shankar’s hands and legs. He also suffered from smoke inhalation, which caused breathing issues.
He was quickly moved to a nearby hospital, where he is currently under medical care, the party stated.
"Mark Shankar, the younger son of Mr. Pawan Kalyan who was caught in a fire at school Injuries to arms and legs... Treatment in hospital (sic)," the post read.
At the time of the incident, Pawan Kalyan was on an official visit to the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Following the news, party members and officials suggested he cut short his trip and travel to Singapore to be with his son.
According to a party leader, the deputy CM intends to finish the scheduled development activities in the district before flying to Singapore from Visakhapatnam.
Born on 10 October 2017, Mark Shankar is currently eight years old and studying in Singapore.
