Son murders father over property dispute

Badlapur: In a disturbing incident that raises serious concerns about law and order in Maharashtra, a son has allegedly murdered his father in Badlapur. The victim, Anant Karale, was killed by his son, Ganesh Karale, reportedly over a dispute related to money and property. This incident is part of a troubling trend of increasing violence and crime in the region, with even trivial matters leading to fatal confrontations.


The incident occurred in the Belavali area of Badlapur on Wednesday morning around 7:30 AM. Anant Karale owned a shop that he had rented out to Khan Caterers. On the day of the incident, both father and son were present at the shop, where they had gathered with the tenants. Following a disagreement, Ganesh allegedly attacked his father with a sharp weapon, resulting in Anant's death.


Upon receiving information about the incident, the Badlapur West Police quickly arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation, and sent Anant Karale's body to a local hospital for autopsy. The police have since taken Ganesh Karale into custody and are conducting further investigations into the case.


Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Gore, speaking with The Perfect Voice, confirmed that the murder stemmed from familial and financial disputes. He stated that accused Ganesh's involvement in the crime, and a legal case has been filed against him.
